Stayed here eight nights out of my ten in Labuan Bajo. Resorts are nice for a night but essentially soulless places. For a beautiful and comfortable experience in Labuan Bajo you can’t go past Stella Dell mare. The owner Mr Josef is an absolute wealth of information and good advice about the island and the wonderful ladies Annie and Ifon are great company and very good teachers of Bahasa Indonesia. They also do a five star breakfast each morning which they are happy to time adjust according to your needs. The ad says no smoking property but this is written wrong and although the rooms are non smoking there is a nice smoking area on the balcony. TLDR 6 stars. Will be back.
I stayed here after a night jungle trekking, i have need to rest. I did It properly!! Great family and great owner. They provide everything you need, the breakfast is huge and delicious. Also the owner can speak eglish and spanish, organize real and knowledged tours and explain you all really, really well. He is an expert about Flores and the rest of Islands from Komodo archipiélago.
